■ Soup Du Jour with Chef Loren | February 3
Where: Central Standard Brewing
A FRENCH POP UP! Come down for a traditional taste of southern France. Chef Loren Fields is a local foodie with worldly taste buds, cooking up a Bouillabaisse for the evening. Shrimp, scallops, and white fish swimming in a lobster and saffron stock. Served with bread, this soup will not disappoint.

■ Sleight-ly Tipsy at the Loony Bin Wichita | February 4
Where: The Loony Bin
2022 Winner of the Midwest Championship of Comedy Magic and youngest veteran of the stage comes to the Loony Bin every month with Sleight-ly Tipsy, the 90-minute magic show that crowns the Midwest! Audiences love Christian’s shows with their gauche and spontaneous comedy, ridiculous props, and impossible magic tricks. Tickets are $18 for the next show on February 4 at 5:00pm, so get them before they’re sold out!

Where: Boston Recreation Center
You’re invited to be a Girl Scout! From exploring the great outdoors to inspiring her next big idea, Girl Scouts can take her where she wants to go. Join us from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Boston Recreation Center in Wichita to do activities and learn more about Girl Scouts.

■ Tuesday Night Pokemon League | January 31
Where: Wizards Asylum
Pokémon League is a fun and accessible way for Pokémon fans to get together and have some fun! League events are open to all Pokémon TCG and video game players regardless of experience level or skill. Using your own cards and Pokémon video games, you can play, trade, and even earn cool prizes! The best part is that you can do all this with other Pokémon players who love collecting and playing just as much as you do.

■ 1 Million Cups | February 1
Where: Groover Labs
1 Million Cups is a free, weekly national program designed to educate, engage, and connect entrepreneurs. Every Wednesday morning at 8:45 a.m., one or two early-stage startups present their companies to a diverse audience of their peers, mentors, educators, and advisors.

■ WSU Men’s Basketball vs. No. 3 Houston | February 2
Where: Charles Koch Arena

■ Greater Kansas RV Show | February 2-5
Where: Century II
Camper owners and adventurers can find the lowest prices of the year at the Greater KS RV Show. From the comfort of Wichita’s Century II Convention Hall, window shoppers and ready buyers can check out the wide selection from Jayco, KZ, Grand Design, and many other quality lines.

■ Thursday Night Pinball League | February 2
Where: The Arcade
Doors at The Arcade open at 6pm. League games will begin at 6:30pm, no practice games will be allowed on league games after this point. This league will run for 7 weeks, 6 weeks of qualifying and 1 week of finals. Only your best 4 of the 6 weeks of qualifying will be used to determine finals placement. Lowest 2 weeks scores will not be used. Each qualifying week, beginning January 5th, and running through February 9th, will consist of a 5 game bank. Format for qualifying weeks is Best Game, one attempt per machine.

■ Adult Skate Night | February 3
Where: Carousel Skate Center
Join us for Adult Night every Friday! Must be 21 with a Valid ID. $10 Cover (skates included). Beer & mixed drinks available. Check out our feature at what to expect here.

■ Snow Glow | February 3
Where: Mid-America All-Indian Museum
It’s a night sledding event you’ll never forget, featuring music provided by DJ Karetaker, LED light show, food trucks, and snow provided by Snow Bros Snowmakers. Pre-registration is required and will be available on our website. Bring a nonmetal sled and enjoy playing in artificial snow. *Event is subject to change due to weather conditions.​

■ Blood Orchard Vintage Market & Southside Food Truck Rally | February 4

■ Cupid 2 Mile Crawl | February 4
Where: Sedgwick County Park
Join us at the 7th Annual Cupid 2 Mile Crawl run on February 4 at 8:30 a.m. The race will be at the Horseshoe Shelter within Sedgwick Co Park. This will be a flat & fast 2 mile run for singles and couples! Participants will receive a long-sleeve race shirt, custom race bib, finisher’s medals and chipped timing. Hot chocolate and donuts will be served post run.

■ ​2023 Annual Wichita Cat Fancy Cat Show | February 4
Where: The Cotillion
People are urged to enter their non-registered cats in the show’s household pet division, a category that celebrates the beauty of the everyday cat. Cats must be at lest 4 months old, spayed or neutered if older than 8 months, current on all vaccinations, of good temperament and not declawed. Entry fee is $30 per cat.

■ ​Evening of Entertainment benefiting Leukemia & Lymphoma Society | February 4
Where: Aloft Wichita
Team ‘Cancer SLAYers’ invites you to a special evening of performances to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society! Come enjoy some amazing singing and beautiful dances by local and regional artists.
