LITO’S to open in the former west-side Angry Elephant space in March

A new restaurant is set to take over the Angry Elephant space at 756 N Tyler Road. While no official announcement was given on the closure, the new restaurant all but solidifies it. LITO’S plans to open in mid-March.

The new concept is being started by Angel Ponce who used to be the general manager of the west side Angry Elephant. He was the one responsible for the sandwiches and burgers found at the BBQ restaurant.

Ponce is ready to go out on his own with LITO’S where the slogan is “A lito bit of everything for everybody”.

On the menu will be beef burgers, chicken steak, hamburgers and tacos.

One thing that will set LITO’S apart according to Ponce is the Vegan menu. He’ll be offering a variety of black bean burgers, jack fruit and mushroom tacos, Ponce said his lady is Vegan and is tired of going out to eat with no options. So LITO’S will be there to have, as the slogan says, a lito bit of everything.

The menu will be solidified in the coming week along with social pages which are in the works.

Stay tuned for our first look.
