The last day for Hana Cafe will be Saturday, Feb. 25.
It’s the end of the road for the sushi restaurant that’s been open for 26 years, with most of that time located at their current address of 325 N. Mead.
The restaurant owned by Eunice Kim has had its fair share of struggles, especially during and post pandemic. Retirement has been calling and Kim will be closing the restaurant and moving back to Korean.
Those wanting to get their last taste of Hana Cafe can stop by anytime between now and Saturday. Their hours are 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
After Hana Cafe closes, the owners of Wasabi East will be taking over the space and opening a restaurant called Sushiya. More on that to come. But until then, go show Kim some last Wichita love.
Happy Dining,
Eddy
