There’s a new Mediterranean restaurant opening in east Wichita and it’s one, many of you may be familiar with. Sesame Mediterranean Kitchen is expanding and opening their second location at 4510 E 19th St. N which is at Braeburn Square on the Wichita State campus. They are taking over the space previously held by Journey East Asia Grill.
Sesame Mediterranean Kitchen, a quick-service concept, opened their first location at 2755 N. Maize Road back in 2021.
It’s great news for owner, Youssef Youssef, who is no stranger to the local restaurant scene. He founded such restaurants that are still around like Le Monde and Mediterranean Grill.
While no official opening date has been set, I’m told it should be by the end of the month.
