Today, Feb. 24, marks the final day for Sunflower Espresso; at least the cafe side of things.
The cafe at 500 S. Topeka will close after lunchtime on Friday. They have invited food trucks, Funky Monkey Munchies and Noble House Hawaiian, who will be on hand to serve food for the final day from 10:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
Word is another cafe will be taking over the space, but no official announcement has been made yet. That should be coming soon, though.
Their food truck will be operating until the end of March.
