The Uno Mas at 8641 W 13th St. N quietly closed around the start of the year. Uno Mas Owner Abel Rodriguez wasn’t sure what to do with the space, but new re-opening wasn’t an option at the time due to lack of staff.
Insert Shawarma UR’s. Rodriguez was able to find someone to partner with to open a new fast casual shawarma restaurant in the space. There will be a drive-thru option and lots of customization options for customers who love shawarmas.
They are still getting everything ready inside, and no timetable has been set on when Shawarma UR’s will be open. We’ll be sure to share more information as it comes along.

Good riddance to Uno Mas! Place was filthy and the staff was horrible. They could care less if you were there. Best of luck to the new business and hopefully they treat customers like they are valued.
