For what, I believe, is the first time in over 40 years, there won’t be an Angela’s Cafe that is open in Wichita.
The only location at 300 S Greenwich announced this morning that they have decided to close their store permanently.
At the restaurant’s peak, there were five locations for the long-time Wichita staple.
My favorite location to visit used to be the one at 901 E. Central that closed in 2016.
No word has been given if Angela’s Cafe will re-open in some capacity. But for now, the restaurant’s lineage as we know it is over.
