Wichita Asian Night Market returns in 2023 to a bigger venue

In 2022, the Wichita Asian Association hosted the very first Asian Night Market at Naftzger Park. The event brought in thousands of people, exceeding expectations. The biggest feedback from attendees was that it needed a bigger venue.

The people spoke and they listened. The Asian Night Market will return in 2023 and in more good news, they found a bigger venue.

This year’s Wichita Asian Night Market will be held at Riverfront Stadium on Saturday, May 27 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The event has been extended an hour, which will truly give it that traditional nighttime feel.

Join all of this year’s event hosts, the Wichita Asian Association, NAAAP-ICT, Newman Asian Student Association, and WSU Asian Student Conference as they get ready to show out for year two.

If you missed it last year, the Asian Night Market is inspired by the late night bazaars of Asia. It’s an event where people come together to enjoy the many local eats, drinks, and arts of Asian cuisine, socialize and experience a new nighttime entertainment unlike others in Wichita. The Asian Night Market aims to unite and empower the community by serving as a platform for showcasing local talent, including performers, chefs, entrepreneurs, and fun for all ages.

General admission for the event at Riverfront Stadium is $5, which is the early bird price available now until April 28. After that, the general admission price will be $7 until the day of the event, which will be $10.

VIP/Early Admission tickets are now on sale for $20 which grants attendees early admission to the Night Market at 5 p.m.
