Wichita Riverfest buttons are now on sale. The early bird buttons are $10 for adults (and $5 for children) until May 6, after that buttons will go up to $15. Buttons for children are $5 for children six and older, and free for those five and under. Keep in mind that the discount is only for the adult buttons. NOW is the best time to get your buttons if you want to save yourself $5.
Discounted buttons can be purchased until May 6 at Meineke Car Care Centers:
- 660 N. Webb Road
- 1810 W. 21st St.
- 925 E. Central
- 3430 N. Webb Road
- 2344 S. Seneca St.
- 1910 N. Nelson Dr. (Derby)
After May 6, buttons go up to $15 for adult buttons and will be available at local QuikTrip stores. Child buttons will remain at $5.
Then there’s the business of the music lineup for the city’s festival that runs from June 2-10.
The most recognizable acts this year include Shaggy who was originally supposed to play in 2000, Gin Blossoms who were on the radio throughout grade school and high school for me, and country acts Eli Young Band and Parmalee.
A Riverfest button will get you into all the shows, but VIP options will be available for many of the acts.
