If you’ve been following this blog, you know that we have started the Wichita By E.B. Dinner Series. It’s a way to get a group of readers together at some of Wichita’s best establishments for a night of dinner, drinks, and discussion. The very first one is set for April 24 at Station 8 BBQ. Tickets for that event go on sale Monday and you can find information for that here.
With only a limited number of tickets available, people may not be able to go so I have started to look into May for our next event.
I’m thrilled to announce the second part of the Wichita By E.B. Dinner Series will be held at the restaurant voted Best Mexican in a 2018 Harris Poll, Taco Bell. I’m not sure whether I can think of a better or more authentic establishment for true foodies than the Bell.
What are the deets?
It’s going to take place on a Monday evening in late May. It’ll also be BYOB, I encourage people to bring flasks of Montezuma tequila. Nothing pairs better with a cheesy roll-up than cheap tequila.
The Wichita By E.B. Dinner Series is also proud to partner with our friends at Pepto-Bismol and Charmin. Your ticket price includes an 8 fluid ounce bottle of Pepto-Bismol which is great for nausea, heartburn, indigestion, upset stomach, diarrhea – Yeah! But wait, there’s more! Attendees also get a 12 pack of ultra-strong Charmin mega rolls which is great for those mega loads after a night of Taco Bell and Montezuma. If you know, you know.
The cost of the dinner series
You could go drop $75 on some fun at the corner of Pawnee and Broadway and risk a night in jail and a mugshot. Or you could drop $75 on some fun at the Wichita By E.B. Dinner Series and risk a night on the toilet and a shot of Pepto. Your call.
What else to expect
If you’ve ever had fast food after a long night of cheap drinks, you know what to expect here. The only difference is, you’re doing it with a bunch of random people you’ve probably never met… and me.
And if you can’t make this one, I’m sorry. But there will be another one planned as the Rickard brothers over at FioRito Ristorante will be the next installment of the Wichita By E.B. Dinner Series in June.
