Weeks after it was announced a couple Hardee’s locations would be closing off the turnpike, the national fast food chain made more changes.
In a surprise move, Hardee’s closed all the Wichita and Derby locations on Monday. This includes stores at 1320 N. Tyler Road, 2053 N. Amidon Road, 3216. E Harry and the one in Derby at 2101 N. Rock Road.
Two stores I reached out to were able to confirm the news despite the locations still showing up on the corporate website. But their listings have been taken down from DoorDash and GrubHub. I reached out to their corporate office, but have not heard a peep.
This probably shouldn’t be a surprise as Hardee’s all around the Midwest have been closing in recent months, including St. Louis, Topeka, Joplin.
