Thursday, April 20th will be the seventh annual Wine About Cancer to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the local families they support.

Lunacorn is back and she’s Hot to Trot!! The ladies of CSB have a seltzer surprise in store for all you Lunacorns! This year we are so thrilled to partner up with the International Rescue Committee of Kansas (IRC). The first 100 people who donate $25 to or more to IRC will receive an ultra-rare, re-designed Lunacorn Nordic-glass featuring artwork from local artist Hannah Scott! Every year the Wichita SWE Chapter partners with local companies, educators, and more to provide kids K-8 with FREE activities geared to engage and encourage STEM educations, with a special sustainability emphasis to celebrate on Earth Day.

■ Spring Work In The Park Day | April 22
Where: Great Plains Nature Center
The Great Plains Nature Center is inviting the community to take part in their annual Spring Work Day on Saturday morning, April 22nd from 9am-11am. Lunch (hot dogs and chips and a drink) will be served at 11am and is limited to the first 50 volunteers to sign up. Please contact Darah at volunteer@gpnc.org to sign up for a project. Projects will include weeding the native garden, trail cleanup, brush removal, and other outdoor maintenance work. Work will begin promptly after a quick orientation in the GPNC lobby at 9am.

The Midwest Winefest is celebrating 28 years in 2023! Funds raised from Midwest WinefestSM have totaled more than $5 million which directly go to support the Guadalupe Health Foundation and in turn are used to support their primary beneficiary, Guadalupe Clinic.
