■ Midwest Winefest 2023 | April 27-29
 Old Town
The Midwest Winefest is celebrating 28 years in 2023! Funds raised from Midwest WinefestSM have totaled more than $5 million which directly go to support the Guadalupe Health Foundation and in turn are used to support their primary beneficiary, Guadalupe Clinic.

■ ICT Brunch Fest | April 29

Enjoy brunch bites from local restaurants, caterers, and food trucks.


■ Japan Festival | April 28
Where: Rhatigan Student Center
Japanese Culture Association brings the Japan Festival back to Wichita State University filled with games, origami, ikebana, performances, pastries, and more! Join in on the various activities taking place, including a photo haiku contest.

■ All Saints Food Court Festival | April 28-30
Where: All Saints Catholic Church
Please come out to support the food court from ALL SAINTS CHURCH fundraising the weekend of 4/28-4/30.

■ Wichita Women’s Fair | April 28-30
Where: Century II
Women’s Fair has created the ultimate “Girls Day Out” shopping event by attracting the best exhibitors and products with the latest ideas and trends. Thousands come to experience everything of interest to women from fashion, beauty, décor, food, entertainment, and FUN ~ ALL UNDER ONE ROOF!

■ Final Friday Food Truck Rally | April 28
Where: The Boathouse
Food Trucks * Booze Trucks * Live Music * Local Artists FREE for all ages to attend. Live Music with Whitnie Means from 6:30-9:30 pm. Over 20 local artists & small business vendors will be set up inside and outside of the Wichita Boathouse.

■ Roar & Snore: Dinosaur Overnights | April 28
Where: Exploration Place
Spend a night at the museum, sleep with the dinosaurs, take over the exhibits, snack on popcorn while watching a movie, compete in a scavenger hunt and learn about dinosaurs and fossils – all while wearing your pajamas! Be prepared for adventure as you explore the museum after hours and make new friends along the way!

■ SHiNE Dance Fitness™ Glow Class | April 28
Where: Maize Recreation Commission
In honor of International Dance Day, we’re having a free SHiNE Dance Fitness GLOW Class. Wear your neon or bright colors and be ready to groove to great music in the black lights. SHiNE Dance Fitness is a full-body workout with choreography rooted in jazz, hip-hop and ballet and set to great music. With a combination of toning and cardio, you’ll come away from class feeling fantastic! Age recommended of 14 and older. Hosted by Maize Recreation Commission.

■ Adult Skate Night | April 28

■ Final Friday with Phlox: Season Opener | April 28
Where: Old Town
Fire will start around 8! The end time depends on a few factors! We are excited to kick off a new season of Final Friday with Phlox!!! Come join us in Old Town Square around dusk to watch a dazzling and possibly dizzying display of FIRE, LED, and DANCE!! Our troupe specializes in all flow art including but not limited to: Poi, Hoops, Staves, Fans, and Fire Breathing!!

■ Wichita’s IMPROV Show LIVE!!! | April 29
Where: Flying Pig Improv
The troupe at Flying Pig Improv performs a completely IMPROVISED evening of entertainment every time they hit the stage! They use suggestions from the audience (that’s YOU) to create a ONE-OF-A-KIND experience with twists, turns, laughs, screams, and occasionally, even tears. Bring your friends! This is a great place to take a date, celebrate a birthday, or impress your out-of-town guests.

■ Fourth Annual PBS Kansas Antiques Fair | April 29

The Fourth Annual PBS Kansas Antiques Fair will be held at the PBS Kansas Channel 8, 8710 E. 32nd St. N., Wichita, KS., 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Like Antiques Roadshow, the event will connect you with local experts who can help you learn about your treasured family heirlooms and garage sale finds. This fundraising event helps PBS Kansas keep Antiques Roadshow, one of your favorite shows, on air!

There will be tree-climbing arborists, tree identification walks, demonstrations for proper tree planting, and activities for the kids! Parking available at Westside Athletic Field (571 N McLean).

■ 2nd Annual ICT Culture Festival | April 29
Where: Wichita South High School
We are extremely 𝐄𝐗𝐂𝐈𝐓𝐄𝐃 to officially announce our 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐂𝐓 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥!! This event is entirely student-led and our team can not wait to see everyone there! Come out on 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟐𝟗𝐭𝐡, 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝟑-𝟕𝐩𝐦! There will be vendors, performances, and so much more!

■ Supportive Spaghetti Supper | April 29
Where: College Hill United Methodist Church
Pine Valley Christian Church is hosting a “Supportive Spaghetti Supper” fundraiser for Camp Sunflower. Camp Sunflower believes that all young people deserve and need supportive and affirming communities, and that’s what they do by holding camps and retreats to serve Kansas LGBTQIA+ middle and high school youth. The supper will be held at College Hill United Methodist Church at 2930 E. 1st, Wichita, KS on February 25th from 4-7pm. You can dine-in or carry-out.

The MOWT Gala | April 29
Where: Museum of World Treasures

Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Annual Banquet and Auction | April 29

Annual fundraising banquet and auction will be held at the Wichita Holiday Inn, 549 South Rock Road. All proceeds go towards land and wildlife conservation, education and hunting access efforts. The RMEF is a 501(3)c organization started in 1984 in Montana.

Tour de Wichita is more than just a fun ride and walk supporting the great work of Bike Walk Wichita and Great Plains Diabetes, it is a Sunday afternoon experience with stops at some of ICT’s most popular hang outs and photo opps. The party at the WAVE includes live music by Monterey Jack, good fun + beverages, inflatables and activities for all ages.

ICT CannaFEST | April 30
Where: Central Standard Brewing
Hosted by Wichita’s very own Z Cannabis Company. This is an event you won’t want to miss as Wichita has seen nothing like it! ICT CannaFEST is an event that provides the opportunity for participants to become well educated regarding Cannabis and its path towards legalization in Kansas. Local businesses will be there showcasing what they have to offer with ample time to address any questions you might have in a friendly environment. Attendees and Judges vote on the best Margarita and Mojito and the establishments with the most votes in each category will receive an award for 1st or 2nd place Best Margarita and Best Mojito (People’s Choice and Judges choice).
