Festivities start at 6pm with the Shamrock’s former owner, Dave Stough visiting to do Wes Race’s “Tornado Bait” poem/spoken word. Then the talented Lyn Avants will do a short set. Next up we’ll have the Haymakers do what they do so well. Short break then we’ll wrap the music up with the amazing VibroKings. Plus, all day long we’ll have delicious BBQ for sale out of the Little House on the patio. Come test your fate at Tornado Bait!
■ Applejack Spring Wine Walk 2023 | May 13
Where: Applejack Pumpkin Patch
We’re turning Applejack Pumpkin Patch into an adult playground on May 13, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. complete with wine, live music, and food! Must be 21 or older to attend. ID will be requested at the gate. Kansas’s own Grace Hill Winery will have 6 stations set up around the pumpkin patch where you will have your choice of sweet and dry wines to try alongside artfully paired Grazing Plains Farm cheeses. Patch activities like the giant slide, Applejack store, and touring the Kansas prairie. Concessions will be made available. We will have live music from Candice and the Business Casual.

Josh Wolf is a comedian, actor and NY Times Bestselling author best known for his work as a round table guest and writer on E!’s “Chelsea Lately” and “After Lately.” He has become one of the most sought after personalities in comedy, headlining stand up comedy tours across the nation. Wolf grew up in Amherst, Massachusetts and began performing stand up at 15 years old. After moving to Los Angeles in his mid 20s, Josh landed a talent deal with 20thCentury Fox and series deals with ABC and NBC. These deals were based on his real-life story of having a relationship with a woman who had two kids prior to meeting him and then having another with Josh and waking up one day to tell him she had no desire to be a mother; leaving Josh who was approx. 24 years old to figure how to raise three toddlers alone all the while trying to forge a career as a standup comedian.

Attendees and Judges vote on the best Margarita and Mojito and the establishments with the most votes in each category will receive an award for 1st or 2nd place Best Margarita and Best Mojito (People’s Choice and Judges choice). Wichita Skykings first annual Fan Fest is happening May 28th and we got some MAJOR celebrities coming! Shocker Alumn and former NBA player, Ron Baker.
