Wichita Riverfest 2023: Your ultimate guide to concerts, tickets, events and more

The 51st Wichita Riverfest celebration kicks off starting Friday, June 2 and will run through Saturday, June 10.

Many traditions such as concerts, food and popular events are back.

Riverfest buttons are your admission to the festival, and good for all 9 days. Buttons are $15 for adults and $5 for children ages 12–6. Admission is FREE for children ages 5 and under. Buttons can be purchased now at any local QuikTrip.

What’s going on? We’ve pulled out some highlights on what to expect for this year’s Riverfest!

Daily Activities:

  • Kids Corner: The Kids Corner is bursting with fun, and each day of the festival holds something new. Check out the daily schedule here.
  • Brickmob Mural Painting: 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. on most days
  • Quantum Credit Union Food Court: Purchase food and drinks from vendors using tickets sold at the ticket booths. Cash is available from Fidelity Bank ATMs. A button is not needed between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.
  • Riverfest Carnival: Look for the bright lights of Riverfest Carnival in the parking lot just southeast of the Hyatt Regency Wichita. Ride tickets can be purchased in this area.
  • Drinks and Beer Garden: Beat the heat with your beverage of choice, from fresh-squeezed lemonade to a wide selection of beers, wines, and cocktails. Stop by the the Bud Light Seltzer Jeep, Bud Bar, and Beer Garden while you enjoy food court treats with your favorite libation.
  • Boats & Bikes at River Vista: Enjoy a spin on a paddleboat, a kayak or a canoe. Embark for the races of these water craft at this dock, too. River Vista is just north of Douglas Avenue and McLean Blvd.

  • Safelite Autoglass Sundown Parade: 6:30 p.m.
  • Shaggy w/ Cash Hollistah with DJ Carbon: 8 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
  • Textron Opening Night Fireworks: 9:45 p.m.

Saturday, June 3:

  • Fidelity Bank River Run: 7 a.m. – 11 a.m.
  • Admiral’s Pancake Feed: 7:30 a.m.
  • Wichita Children’s Theatre Production of Chicken Little: 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2 p.m.
  • Riverfest Artfest Pop Up Market: 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Cowboy Bathtub Races: 2 p.m. – 3 p.m.
  • Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors w/ Wilderado and Reid Haughton: 9 p.m.

Sunday, June 4:

  • Riverfest Artfest Pop Up Market: 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Steam City: Noon – 4 p.m.
  • Cardboard Regatta: 1:30 p.m.
  • Downtown Get Down: 3 p.m. – 9p.m.
  • Parker Millsap: 9 p.m.

Monday, June 5:

  • Bob Struble Golf Classic: 8:30 a.m.
  • Gospelfest: Le’Andria Johnson with Blind Boys of Alabama: 6 p.m.

Tuesday, June 6:

  • A Salute to Military: Eli Young Band with Texas Hill: 5:30 p.m.

Wednesday, June 7:

  • Linwood Sexton Charity Ice Cream Sandwich Challenge: 6 p.m.
  • Hiland Dairy Ice Cream Social: 6:30 p.m.
  • Portrait w/ the Admiral: 7 p.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Gin Blossoms w/ Haymakers and Desure: 8:30 p.m.

Thursday, June 8:

  • Goodwill Industries Cajun Food Fest: 5 p.m.
  • Touch a Truck – Presented by KAKE: 5 p.m.

  • Plein Air Final Show and Sale: 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
