If you’re catching a concert at Arrowhead Stadium this summer, this is a quick blog you’ll definitely want to read if you intend to have some drinks.
We checked out the Luke Combs show and while there was plenty of tailgating going on, maybe we should have done a little more.
One of the first things we did was head straight to grab a drink. I was still hungry, and decided to grab a brat as well. This was a picture I posted on Facebook, asking followers to weigh in on what this combo cost. Most replies were in the $20-35 range. Unfortunately, two Cutwater Vodka Mules and a brat that could have used a little more time on the grill was much higher than most people thought. The brat was truly horrible.
The total? $46.84.
I was watching many people check out and you could see the initial shock on their faces as they saw their tabs. One concession worker kept telling people, “I know, I wish it was lower.”
Here’s a menu listing of how much most items cost. Isn’t it nice of Arrowhead to also include the calorie count?
The concert was roughly a five-hour show, so we still needed more drinks and my stomach said it needed something better than an undercooked brat. I went back for a salted pretzel and was happy with how salted and soft it was.
The total for this purchase? $45.73. So, I was able to save about a buck from my previous purchase.
Friends, who are season ticket holders for the Chiefs, told me that drink prices for football games were cheaper than that. I wasn’t able to confirm that information, but figured I’d pass this information on as more concerts are headed to Arrowhead Stadium this summer and this could be some worthwhile info.
Happy Dining,
Eddy
