Help determine the Master of Mixology at Wichita’s first cocktail competition at Odd Fellow Hall

All the food festivals are great and all, but what about a cocktail event? Save this date… July 16 from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. for the First Annual Wichita One Life Spirits Cocktail Competition. Tickets, which are $50 a piece, are now available here.

Located at Odd Fellow Hall at 930 W. Douglas, all mixologists are invited to participate in this competition. Participants will submit a menu of 4 cocktails. Judges will select 10 finalists to compete in a 1 Public Round showcasing their Batched Cocktail and 3 elimination rounds showcasing a brunch, dinner, and dessert cocktail.

All 10 finalists will be given a station (table provided) in the main room at Odd Fellow to showcase their Batch Cocktail during the event. Guests will have the opportunity to try all 10 Batched Cocktails and vote for their favorite for the People’s Choice Award.

Tickets will be limited and capped at 100 spectators, so get your tickets soon! Each $50 ticket includes a sample of all 10 of the batch cocktails by the mixologists. Ticket holders will also be entered into a drawing to become the 5th judge along myself, The Anchor owner Jen Ray, and two local mixologists Cody Lonergan of Odd Fellow Hall and Nelson Escalante with LDF.

DJ Carbon will be the host for the event, and talking you through competition updates as well as a live stream so you can feel behind the bar with each competitor. The in-house kitchen and bar will also be open, slinging food and booze during the event for cash or card purchases.
