Where: Newman University – De Mattias Performance Hall
Regina Klenjoski Dance Company and Tristian Griffin Dance Company unite to produce an exciting performance of concert dance featuring five Kansas premieres choreographed by nationally celebrated creators making thoughtful work rooted in identity, race, gender, and social justice. Featuring new work by choreographers Gary Abbott, Sabrina Vasquez, Chad Michael Hall, Tristian Griffin, and Regina Klenjoski.

Wichita Taco Fest

■ Wichita Taco Fest | June 17
Where: Capitol Federal Amphitheater
Come and join us at Taco Fest for a fiesta of flavor, Saturday, June 17 from 3 to 9 p.m.! We have a large selection of locally crafted delicious tacos, different kinds of salsa with chips, nachos, and elote from various vendors. 1 Million Cups is a free, weekly national program designed to educate, engage, and connect entrepreneurs. Every Wednesday morning at 8:45 a.m., one or two early-stage startups present their companies to a diverse audience of their peers, mentors, educators, and advisors.

For his 2023 USA Tour, he will visit more than 35 cities, bringing his knowledge and his touch of comedy to the entire Hispanic community. César Lozano will provide strategies on how to deal with difficult people and overcome difficult circumstances in your life. ■ The Greatest Showman Singalong | June 15

Embark on an unforgettable cinematic adventure with the timeless songs that have captured hearts across the globe. Feel the thrill as you sing every word, dance along with the film’s choreography and embrace the excitement of The Greatest Showman alongside fellow enthusiasts. Kemper Theater will be used to its full potential, with several surprises in store for during the film. Join us as we sing, dance, are awed with a live performance from a local idol and immerse ourselves in the sights and sounds being played out on screen. This really is the greatest show! Live Performance by McKayla Stacey: From Andover to Hollywood, and everywhere in between, McKayla Stacey is a star. Many will recognize McKayla from her audition on American Idol season 21, which earned her a golden ticket, but this local music sensation has been belting it out on stage in Wichita for years.

■ Resurrection with EPIC | June 15
Where: Botanica
Botanica is excited for its upcoming concert featuring Resurrection – A Journey Tribute band that faithfully recreates the experience of a 1980’s Journey concert. Performing on June 15, 2023, doors open at 7pm. Opening act, EPIC, headlines at 7:30pm and Resurrection takes the stage at 8:30pm. Tickets are $40 for members and $45 for non-members.

■ The Wichita Open | June 15-18
 Crestview Country Club
The Wichita Open, the longest running PGA TOUR-sanctioned event on the Korn Ferry Tour, is conducted annually at Crestview Country Club. This four-day, 72-hole competition features 156 players from around the world vying for a total purse of $1,000,000. As the path to the PGA TOUR, the Korn Ferry Tour features some of the most talented professional golfers who are ready to compete and win on golf’s biggest stage.

■ Adult Skate Night | June 16

It’s 80s night at the 11th annual WAM and Tallgrass Film Association free outdoor concert and movie night. The Echos take the stage at 7:30, with a showing of Raiders of the Lost Ark at 9. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets. Cash bar available (no outside alcohol allowed). Pack your own picnic dinner or purchase light bites from 1400 by Elderlie.

■ 2023 Stearman Fly In | June 17

It’s that time of the year! This is an all-day event. All kinds of aircraft will be here throughout the day. We will have live music by Stevie Warren and Road 23 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Then, Lucky People will play the evening show from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. This is a time when you get to walk around on the tarmac and get up close to the aircraft. We will have a limited menu on this day. Look for our beer garden and concession stand outside. No coolers allowed.

Kansas Grown! Farmers Market | June 17
