■ Shop & Grub Night Market | June 23
Where:
 Exploration Place Festival Plaza
Shop & Grub is a monthly outdoor market featuring various vendors selling vintage clothing, art, jewelry, accessories, home goods, wine, delicious food, and more. Free Admission for All Ages.

■ Twilight Tour 2023 | June 24
Where:
 Tanganyika Wildlife Park
Drinks, sunset, and animal experiences who can’t experience anywhere else in the world. You won’t want to miss Wichita’s best VIP animal experience. Twilight Tour is our annual Tanganyika Wildlife Park fundraisers behind the scenes viewings local appetizers, beer, wine samples and more. We don’t receive any government funding or subsidies, and are closed over the winter. Because of this, funds raised at Twilight Tour ensure we can continue to provide exemplary care for the animals along with the Park’s future expansions. All funds raised at the event go directly to our 501C3. We will have opportunities for once in a lifetime experiences, custom animal art, silent auction, and more!

■ Shockers Under The Stars: Super Mario Bros | June 21
Where: Wichita State University
The Office of Engagement is kicking off summer by hosting the 3rd annual Shockers Under the Stars community summer movie. This summer we will be screening Super Mario Bros a film centered around teamwork, conquering fear, and believing in yourself. You will be able to decorate and create a flag representing your neighborhood (we will be making one for Shocker Neighborhood) before the movie. There will also be youth vendors, and a couple food trucks. If you design a flag you can bring it back with you to our outdoor movie in the fall to celebrate Good Neighbor Week and be entered for a prize.

■ 1 Million Cups | June 21
Where: Groover Labs
1 Million Cups is a free, weekly national program designed to educate, engage, and connect entrepreneurs. Every Wednesday morning at 8:45 a.m., one or two early-stage startups present their companies to a diverse audience of their peers, mentors, educators, and advisors.

■ Planetarium Show: The Dark Side of the Moon | June 22

 Exploration Place
Embark on a cosmic odyssey in celebration of Pink Floyd’s 50th anniversary of The Dark Side of the Moon planetarium show in The Dome. Journey through a cosmic realm that pays tribute to Pink Floyd’s enduring legacy. ■ Cookies On Tap | June 22

Cookies on Tap is a community event to bring Wichita-area adult residents together over cookies and craft brews in support of Girl Scouts. The event pairs Girl Scout cookies with craft brews from local brewers, and provides participants with a sample of each pairing and one full pour of their choice in a special edition take-home glass.

 Tropical Escape Cookout | June 22

Join us at the Tiki Shack for a cookout! We will be serving up a Shrimp Boil, Cilantro Lime Rice with Pineapple, Hawaiian Pulled Pork Sliders and a Mango Spinach Salad.

■ The Greatest Showman Singalong | June 22

Embark on an unforgettable cinematic adventure with the timeless songs that have captured hearts across the globe. Feel the thrill as you sing every word, dance along with the film’s choreography and embrace the excitement of The Greatest Showman alongside fellow enthusiasts. Kemper Theater will be used to its full potential, with several surprises in store for during the film. Join us as we sing, dance, are awed with a live performance from a local idol and immerse ourselves in the sights and sounds being played out on screen. This really is the greatest show! Live Performance by McKayla Stacey: From Andover to Hollywood, and everywhere in between, McKayla Stacey is a star. Many will recognize McKayla from her audition on American Idol season 21, which earned her a golden ticket, but this local music sensation has been belting it out on stage in Wichita for years.

■ Carnival at Field Station: Dinosaurs | June 22-24
Where: Field Station: Dinosaurs
oin us at Field Station: Dinosaurs June 22 – 24th for a variety of carnival rides, games and concessions located in our parking lot. This carnival runs each night 6:00 – 10:00p after the Field Station has closed.

■ IMOMSOHARD: Ladies’ Night! | June 22

 Wichita Orpheum Theatre
IMOMSOHARD began as a popular web-series by real-life best friends, comedians, and moms Kristin and Jen, sparking an online community of 2 million followers. The videos have received nearly 300 million views worldwide in just 5 years. The phenomenon created by Kristin Hensley and Jen Smedley has since been nabbed for development by Warner Brothers TV. The comedians have sold-out two national tours, written a New York Times Best Selling autobiographical book and children’s book with Harper Collins, began hosting a top comedy podcast, landed branded deals with Fortune 100 companies, and taped a standup comedy special for Amazon Prime Video, launching the network’s first standup comedy platform. Kristin Hensley and Jen Smedley are based in Los Angeles and can often be found selling pizza slices for the PTA or working as parking enforcement at school drop off.
