If you’re planning on dining out at Albero Cafe at 4811 E. Central, you’ll have to change your plans.
Because the strip center at Central and Oliver will be going through a redevelopment, the Italian restaurant has been forced to close. Albero Cafe has already celebrated its last day on east Central, and a search is underway for a new location in the College Hill area.
Until then, fans of the restaurant can still visit their sister restaurant, Albero Bistro, at 2684 N. Greenwich, which serves many of the same dishes.
When we hear of an update on Albero Cafe, we will be sure to pass it on.
