Burger Central Revisited

A group of us needed lunch but had to have it done through a delivery service. After perusing through the options, we landed on Burger Central. It’s a burger place located at 3302 W. Central, and one I haven’t been back to in a handful of years. This sounded like the perfect opportunity to check them out again and eat local through delivery.

The menu found on the delivery service app was similar to the one found on Burger Central’s website for ordering.

Others in my group ordered the bacon cheeseburger, and I opted for the bacon & egg cheeseburger with ketchup, mustard, pickle, and raw or grilled onions. Tater tots were my side, but I also added funnel cake fries.

Our order was prompt, and our appetites were ready. It was a long day and the hunger was coming on strong.

The funnel cake fries were the first thing we dug into and everyone loved them. I also passed them around the room and didn’t hear one single complaint outside of more powdered sugar. They had a thicker texture and very filling. These are the type of fries I could get down on all the time.

Next up was my bacon and egg cheeseburger, which really hit the spot for me. It was a juicy burger and the egg and bacon were solid additions. I loved the bun, which conformed to the patty. Honestly, a solid solid, solid experience and one of the better delivery experiences I’ve had with a burger.

The tots were a little hard for my taste, and some of that could have been attributed to the delivery, so take that for what it’s worth.

This was a much better experience with Burger Central than my last one. It makes me want to go in and try a sit down meal at the restaurant to see how it compares.
