Earlier this year, Chuyitos Birrieria closed at their 1415 W. Pawnee. The space has since been taken over by Ooo Lala Stone Pho.
Part of the reason for closing was due to increased rent. While the owner was unsure if he would reopen, an opportunity came along and that means good news for the local restaurant scene.
Chuyitos Birrieria will be re-opening at 511 N. West Street in the former 511 Club, some people may also remember that being a Yvie’s, located across the street from Bingo Casino.
The grand opening will take place on Wednesday, August 2 when doors open at 11 a.m.
This should make an excellent start to August as they are one of my favorite restaurants in town, especially when it came to consomé or birria.
