The first time I ever walked into HobbyTown, I was in awe. It was close to 30 years ago and I knew I’d always make it a point to return and I have over the years. It’s been one of my go-to places to pick up board games. 

Late last year, HobbyTown moved locations to double their storefront while remaining in Eastgate Plaza, where they have been for years. The new space is a hop, skip, and jump over in the same shopping center but in a new space located next to OshKosh B’gosh.

I finally stopped by the new digs and loved every second of it.

If you’re into remote control trains, cars, or rockets, everything you need is located under HobbyTown’s roof.

If you need Lego’s, there’s that too.

STEM kits covering all things science… yes, you’re covered.

Does your child collect squishmallows and all the stuffies? Bring them here.

Or if you’re an avid boardgamer like myself, HobbyTown has one of the best selections in town to buy from.

It’s the ultimate place for all the hobbies. If they don’t have what you’re looking for, the staff will help you find it. They’ve been more than helpful to me over the years, and I try to stop in at least once a year and show my support by buying some games. During my last visit, I picked up two games: Animal Upon Animal, a stacking dexterity game for my daughter and Catch The Moon, another game of dexterity involving stacking ladders strategically.
