Calling all teachers! Dillons is hosting the first-ever spelling bee where local Wichita area public school teachers will be the participants.
And who better to host the spelling bee than yours truly. As a former spelling bee champion from Booth Elementary, I’ve had my fair share of success in spelling even though it doesn’t show in most of my blogs.
The spelling bee will take place at the 21st and Maize Dillons on August 4 which coincides with the store’s grand re-opening day. It’ll run from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Teachers from the Wichita are public schools are eligible for a chance to enter (link here), where 15 teachers will be randomly selected by Dillons.
The grand prize will be a $1,000 gift card to stock their classroom! Other participants will also win gift card prizes.
