Adult Superstore
If you’re driving down Broadway, specifically in the area of 5858 S. Broadway St, you will likely come across an adult entertainment store called Adult Superstore. It’s hard to miss, especially with three big X’s on their sign.
The store is open at 8 a.m. every day for those early risers looking for a little extra assistance in actually getting arise… if you catch my drift. Adult Superstore closes at midnight every day of the week except for Friday and Saturday, where people can hop right in until 2 a.m. if you’re looking for that late night fun.
If you don’t want your car to be seen from Broadway in case your spouse, kids, coworkers are driving by, there is more parking in the back.
Adult Superstore has garnered pretty decent ratings online with a 4-star rating on Yelp, granted it’s just one review. Timothy P on Yelp said back on April 23:
Out of the 3 adult book stores in Wichita, this has been the best. First is the store itself. As you walk in it’s well lit, great selection of adult movies as well as toys. The people behind the counter have been really nice and actually took time to answer my questions. Next is the theater and privet video booths, this is where they lose a star. The theaters, there is 8 of them, are running a decent variety of films. They are kept up pretty well and are clean. Now the reason they lost a star, the privet video booths. Only 3, out of 8 had the tvs on and out of the 3 none of them would take my money or work properly. If they fix this one issue I would give them another star. I’ve been twice one night was dead and the other night while not super busy there was a good group of men and 2 women in the theater area.
It appears the private (or in Timothy’s case, privet) video booths weren’t operating efficiently, so that’s something to keep in mind if you’re looking to catch the wildly popular Barbie movie or perhaps the adult version, Barbie Does Dallas.
Google Reviews have a slightly lower rating at an average 3.4 stars with 17 reviews.

It looked like a mix bag of reviews.
What were my thoughts? Truth be told, I didn’t even park my car or go in. I took a picture as I was headed to an event over the weekend, saw the building, thought it was funny, took a picture, and told myself to write a story about it for sh*ts and giggles.
