Please mark your calendars for August 26. It’s CAREfest.
Heartspring’s CAREfest is a FUNdraising festival packed with events for everyone, including the Autism CARE Walk, PedalFest bike rides, and a 5K Run. Families can also enjoy live music, kids’ activities, food trucks, and more. Best of all, many of the events are FREE!
The all-day festival gives a big boost to Heartspring who provides therapeutic and educational services to children with intellectual, developmental, physical, and behavioral needs. Every department at Heartspring, including the Therapeutic Residential & Day School and Outpatient Services, benefits from the funds raised at CAREfest.
There are some other events throughout the day such as the PedalFest 25k, 50k, and 100k bike rides, a CAREfest car show and 5k that have an additional cost.
Here’s a rundown of what you can expect:
- Autism CARE Walk at 10 a.m.
Free to attend
Gather your friends and family to advocate for local families impacted by autism. Advocate and show your team spirit! Create signs and matching T-shirts to raise awareness for children with complex needs. - PedalFest at 7:30 a.m., 7:40 a.m. and 10 a.m.
5K Family Ride is free while the premium rides (50k and 100k routes) are $75 - 5K Run at 10 a.m.

Includes T-shirt, Lunch, and Drink Ticket Runners and walkers — join us on the 5K! Lace up your running shoes and show your support by participating in our 5K Run. Try to beat your best time or enjoy a leisurely trip around the Heartspring campus.

DJ Carbon will provide the music for the walk and ride, while Patz starts at 11 a.m. and Annie Up at 12:30 p.m. - General Admission To The Event
