Looking for a birthday party venue? Perhaps consider Tanganyika Wildlife Park.

Located at 1000 S. Hawkins Ln in Goddard, KS, Tanganyika Wildlife Park offers more hands-on opportunities than most animal experiences.

Over the past year, we’ve attended two birthday parties at Tanganyika, which were big successes. In both instances, the cabanalow (as seen in the picture above) was reserved for each party. It’s a semi-private space located next to the splash park.

There were plenty of tables and chairs for families to drop off gifts, sit and watch their kids at the splash park, or simply hang out.

The cabanalow came as part of the Safari Party Birthday package, which also included an educational animal ambassador. During each one, the staff at Tanganyika brought out a penguin and a goat.

Like many things at the wildlife park, it was a hands-on experience that the kids loved.

Before or after the encounters, the kids can explore the park or hang out all day at the Splash Park.

Obviously, every visit to Tanganyika involved some lemur time on Lemur Island. All in all, each of the birthday parties brought all the smiles to the kids’ faces.

There was no shortage of things to do, whether it was the animal encounters, walking around the park, running around the playground, feeding animals, getting wet and wild at the splash park, or eating cake.
