It’s taken almost a year to open, but southwest Wichita finally has a Rene’s Mexican Restaurant to call their own.
The late night Mexican restaurant quietly opened at 2424 S. West St. where it took over the former Subway space at the intersection of Pawnee and West St.
While it won’t be 24 hours, this one will still give the area of town an additional option for those who want to dine after 9 p.m. Hours for this Rene’s are Monday through Friday 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
