One event, I look forward to every year is the Rhea Lana’s of Greater Wichita semi-annual children’s consignment sale. Best of all, it takes place twice a year and it’s back at Century II, August 13-18.
We have not missed one ever since our daughter was born. Those who have never heard of it, the Rhea Lana sale offers gently used children’s items for 50-60% off retail price.
When we dress our daughter, we often get many compliments about how well-dressed our daughter is. Hard truth, 90% of our daughter’s apparel comes from the Rhea Lana Sale. It’s hard for me to rationalize paying full price for clothes our child will wear for maybe 6–9 months. On top of that, we’re also consignors. The clothes our daughter grows out of in less than a year and the toys she’s done playing with in less than a week all get tagged and taken to Century II to sell to reload on more clothes.
Literally anything and everything a parent could want or need can be found here. I’m talking clothes, shoes, games, toys, beds, bikes, strollers, car seats, movies, costumes… literally everything.
It’s truly a sea of kids items ranging from all categories.

Thursday, August 10
6 p.m. to 9 p.m. | Launch Party: This is a ticketed event that gives shoppers early access to the sale. Tickets are sold out for this
Friday, August 11
11 a.m. to 9 p.m. | Platinum Shopping: This is a ticketed event that also grants early access to shopping. Tickets available here.
3 p.m. to 9 p.m. | Gold Shopping: This is a ticketed event that also grants early access to shopping. Tickets available here.
6 p.m. to 9 p.m. | Consignor Pre-Sale Shopping: Another pre-sale shopping option for those who consigned.
Saturday, August 12
9 a.m. to 9 p.m. | Silver Shopping: This is the last paid ticketed event for early shopping. Tickets available here.
Noon to 9 p.m. | Moms-to-be Pre-Sale: Have a baby on the way? You can register here for a free ticket for early shopping.
2 p.m. to 9 p.m. | Military/Teachers/Healthcare Heroes Pre-Sale: Must show photo ID at the door along with ticket.
4 p.m. to 9 p.m. | Guest Pre-Sale Shopping: Anybody who registers here can shop with a free ticket.
