Those who have had wings from Grandma Thuy’s know just how delicious they are.
Then there are others who have had the general tso’s Chicken, which is their most popular entrée, or the sesame chicken and boast about it.
A new mashup just released combines the best of both worlds, as Grandma Thuy’s now has general tso’s and sesame flavored chicken wings on the menu.

Just dropped, the new items are a fusion of some of the most popular dishes on Grandma Thuy’s menu.
Diners can choose the sesame wings which have a mild sweet sauce and sprinkled with sesame seeds on top. Or there’s the general tso’s which are doused with a sauce offering a tough of spice.
I tried them both and you can’t go wrong with either option. Between the two, I preferred general tso’s simply because of the minor level of heat in each bite.
Even after the roughly 10-15 minute drive, the wings were piping hot AND crispy on the outside. Because who wants a soggy chicken wing, right? And when you talk about meaty, hefty wings, this is exactly what you’re getting. Grandma Thuy’s wings, I think, are highly underrated in the wing scene in Wichita and these two new flavors hopefully will bring more attention to them.
And in the rare case you don’t like wings, there’s easily something there at Grandma Thuy’s for everybody. From egg rolls to fried rice to lo mein, it’s one of the best restaurants in Wichita.
