Riverfront Stadium will finally host its first concert in October

Concerts were on the slate of events supposed to be offered when Riverfront Stadium became a thing. A couple country acts were originally lined up a couple of years ago, but those were either moved or canceled altogether. And now under the Wichita Wind Surge’s new leadership, the first concert will finally be held at our city’s baseball stadium.

90’s Rock at the Park is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 8. The concert will feature three tribute bands, Black Daze: The Ultimate Soundgarden Tribute, Rooster: an Alice in Chains tribute band, and Corduroy: the Pearl Jam experience.

Gates open at noon. Attendees can either be on the field or utilize the stadium seating.

General admission tickets are $30 while VIP tickets which include access to the Dillons Picnic Patio, a buffet and non-alcoholic drinks are $60.

Tickets are now on sale.
