It’s official. The Uno Mas at 3242 N. Rock Road has closed as of Monday, Sept. 19. Owner Abel Rodriguez confirmed the news with me this morning, as he plans to put all of his focus on Cabron Y Vagos Cocina, his restaurant and bar in downtown Wichita at 301 N. Washington.
That means all Uno Mas restaurants have closed in Wichita. Those looking to get the food can still visit Cabron Y Vagos Cocina where dishes from Uno Mas can still be found. The food truck and catering will also continue.
A buyer was quick to take over the Rock Road location, though. Someone has purchased the equipment and new tenants will be opening an Indian cuisine restaurant either later this month or early October.
