Kansas Sneaker Fest | September 16
Where: Charles Koch Arena
Kansas Sneaker Fest is Wichita’s very own sneaker convention. A unique marketplace for sneaker enthusiasts to buy, sell, and trade sneakers amongst each other. The event features vendors selling and displaying the latest and most sought after sneakers, highly coveted vintage clothing, streetwear brands and accessories. Other activities include a a free throw competition where attendees face off for a chance to win a slew of prizes. Attendees also have the opportunity to win a pair of highly coveted sneakers by supporting the sock drive which benefits local shelters in the Wich

■ ICT Yoga Fest 2023 | September 15-16

This two day, indoor/outdoor festival held at the Wichita Boathouse will feature all styles and aspects of yoga with classes, workshops, and activities for every kind of yogi taught by teachers from all over the surrounding area! Our indoor Festival Marketplace will be full of local merchants, artisans, and vendors so be prepared to shop!

■ Coronation Ceremony for Miss USA Latina and WindSurge game | September 15
Where: Riverfront Stadium
The last game of the season and a celebration of Hispanic Heritage month at the Wind Surge (Tumba Vacas). What a better way to end the season. By showcasing and highlighting the most incredible, one of a kind occurrence that no one is talking about. Wichita won for the first time the National crown for Miss USA Latina. Melany Imbrecht, first won the crown of Miss Kansas Latina on September,2021. Wichita taking the crown! Then Wichita took the crown at National competition on August 6,2023. She is now representing the USA at the International Miss America Latina de Mundo pageant this October 2023 in the Dominican Republic. Let’s show our support, and bring awareness of this great accomplishment.

The path goes along the river, over the Keeper bridge and back to the museum. We highly encourage all levels of walkers and runners. parkrun is for everyone!!

“Latin Fest ICT” is a unique, cultural festival, celebrating diversity during Hispanic Heritage Month. This 5th annual city-wide event is free admission and open to the public. Open Streets ICT | September 17
Where: Downtown Wichita
Enjoy a day of biking, fun physical activities, music, dancing, and much more! All Wichitans are invited to get active and socialize at the five major activity hubs situated every mile along the four-mile stretch. Open Streets ICT brings Wichitans of all ages together for an active, fun, community building afternoon in Wichita’s historic Delano District all the way down to the College Hill area.Visitors will be able to cruise along Douglas Ave.on bikes, skateboards, or walk and stop at activity hubs, shop businesses on the route, and visit food and street vendors while listening to music. Please remember no motorized vehicles of any kind are allowed. ​Hubs will be located at West Douglas, Kennedy Plaza, Naftzger Park, East High School and College Hill.​

■ Crave Culinary Festival | September 19-23
Where: Mark Arts
This five-day festival features an artistic fusion of food and friends benefiting Mark Arts. A variety of culinary and libation workshops will be held Tuesday through Friday evenings featuring local and national culinary experts. The festival culminates on Saturday, Sept. 23 with a Foodie Fair where guests can enjoy a keynote talk by food blogger Wichita by EB and sample food from local chefs and restaurants.

■ Drone Light Festival | September 21-23
Where: Exploration Place
Wichita’s drone light show returns as a festival to Exploration Place on September 21-23, 2023! The festival will provide breathtaking views of 300 synchronized drones (100 more than last year!), fully choreographed with music. We are planning some exciting enhancements to the experience, including new custom drone formations, floating Chinese water lanterns, projections on the Exploration Place buildings and a concert lit by more than 2,000 candles.

■ Greater Andover Days 2023 | September 28-October 1

 Andover Central Park
Greater Andover Days is held in Andover on September 28 – October 1. Join us for food trucks, live entertainment, children’s activities, yard games, car show, jeep night, art show, corn hole tournament, golf tournament, bingo, pickleball tournament. parade, fireworks, and the list goes on! Buttons and wristbands are on sale now – September 28 for $3 at a variety of locations including Andover Public Library, Andover City Hall, South Central Mental Health, Dillons in Andover, Andover State Bank, Andover Area Chamber of Commerce, K. Westphal Jewelers, Andover Senior Center. A portion of the proceeds benefit the Andover Senior Center.
