Whether it’s cold weather, rain or whatever else Mother Nature brings, there will be times you need to find something to entertain the children. I’ve been there, and that’s why I’ve put together a list of the Best Indoor Activities for kids in Wichita, KS.

The Arcade

The city’s largest collection of retro arcade games and best of all, it’s unlimited game play for $10-12.
Advanced Learning Library
Where: 711 W. 2nd St.
Don’t underestimate the fun of reading and all there is to do at the Advanced Learning Library or any of the public libraries around town.
Blast Off Bay
Where: 435 N. Crowne Dr., Goddard, KS
Blast Off Bay is an “out-of-this-world” indoor water park in Goddard, KS. It’s the largest water park in the region with slides, a surf machine, an arcade, and even an AstroBar and hot tub for the adults.
Carousel Skate Center
Where: 312 N. West St.
Lace up your skates as you hit the rink. It’s also home to one of the largest play zones for younger kids.
Exploration Place
Where: 300 N. McLean Blvd
This all-ages science museum is fun and interactive for all ages. And it’s one of those places you can go at all times of the year thanks to their ever-changing exhibits.
Shocker Sports Grill & Lanes

Museum of World Treasures

Experience a trek through time at the Museum of World Treasures. History comes alive as you delve into the lives of dinosaurs, Ancient Egyptians, past presidents and so much more.
Aviate Trampoline Park

Urban Air

Hubbard Arts Center (Cooking Class)

The Wichita Art Museum is free to enter. And if you make your way downstairs at WAM, you’ll find a wonderful area for your gets to explore their creative side.
