First Look at Electric Pizzeria’s latest location in the Douglas Design District

Electric Pizzeria

Another Electric Pizzeria has opened. It’s another attempt for a restaurant that has had multiple stores in Wichita and even in Derby. The latest location took over the short-lived Mad Boba restaurant that was owned by the same owners as Electric Pizzeria.

I placed my order online and waited about 20 or so minutes to make my way to pick it up. When I arrived, there was no pizza ready nor an order placed. Despite me having a receipt and my charge card, I was told there was an error in the system sending my order for it to be made. Sometimes, I think I have the worst luck.

So we waited another 15 minutes or so for our pizza. It didn’t take too long, though, and we finally made it home with these pizzas.

Electric Pizzeria

One of the boys enjoyed the pizzas, but the adults found them to be undercooked. The dough was extremely soft, and the cheese didn’t have that ooziness we were hoping for. It’s almost like our pizzas were rushed and not cooked all the way. The crust was a big let down for us. At least one of the kids liked it, so that was a positive takeaway.

I’m not sure if the employees making our pizzas rushed them due to not receiving the order. But if the pizzas we received were intended to be that way, we were definitely not fans.

Happy Dining,
Eddy

  1. I liked going to their Location on Maple and West. I enjoyed their buffet. Covid pretty much ended that. Just like Pizza Hut.
