Road Runner fans have many options around town, but there isn’t one out east…. yet. Signs are now up and Road Runner Mexican Fast Food Cantina is headed to 300 S. Greenwich Road.
The location has been home to other Mexican restaurants such as Angela’s Cafe and Vicky’s Restaurant & Tienda Mexicana. Now it will be Road Runner Mexican Fast Food Cantina’s turn.
The Mexican restaurant has come a long ways since starting as a food truck many moons ago. Since then, they’ve expanded to multiple locations all throughout town.
I spoke to one person with Road Runner, and was told they are aiming for an opening in late November. But like any opening, there could be some delays to push it into December.
When I hear of a firm date, I’ll be sure to pass this along. Stay tuned for more.
