Veterans Day is just around the corner. It’s a day for some wonderful food deals for veterans and active military; a day to honor those who fight for our country. If you’re not a veteran, but would still like to show some love, I’ve also included a list of veteran-owned restaurants and food trucks in the Wichita area.

Be sure to let your family members and friends know of these deals and to thank them for their service. To take advantage of any deals, it’s best practice to bring your military ID or proof of service. For the chains listed on this list, be aware that it does depend on location and may not apply to a Wichita store.
Veterans Day Food Deals
Applebee’s
Veterans and active-duty military receive a free meal when dining in from a special menu on November 11.
Arby’s
Arby’s are honoring all veterans and active-duty military on Veteran’s Day with a free classic roast beef sandwich.
B.J.’s Restaurant and Brew House
Veterans with a valid military ID can dine in and enjoy a free Chocolate Chunk Pizookie with any $9.95+ purchase. In addition, veterans who spend more than $14.95 for dine in or takeout will receive a bounce back coupon for a free appetizer to redeem between November 12 and December 31, 2023.
Blue Hook Cajun Seafood & Bar

Bonefish Grill
Free order of Bang Bang Shrimp with a soft beverage to veterans
Bricktown Brewery
Veterans and active military personnel are invited to dine-in and enjoy a complimentary entree from a curated menu of select entrees. Each veteran and active member of the military will also receive a free commemorative pint glass and a $10 certificate while supplies last, redeemable toward a future visit through December 10, 2023.
Buffalo Wild Wings
Buffalo Wild Wings will treat military members and veterans to free boneless wings and fries on Veterans Day. Only available for dine-in.
Carrabba’s
Veterans and active-duty military get a complimentary dine-in appetizer or dessert paired with a soft beverage with show of ID.
Casey’s General Store
Casey’s is offering any size complimentary coffee or fountain drink to all veterans on Veterans Day.
Charleys Philly Steaks
Veterans and active-duty military get free Gourmet Fries in-store with no purchase necessary on November 11.

Veterans and active-duty military personnel who visit on November 11 will receive a free Freddy’s Original Double with Cheese combo meal card that can be redeemed through November 30.
Golden Corral
Free meal on Military Appreciation Night on Monday, November 13 from 5pm – close. Free “thank you” meal.
Huddle House
Free MVP Breakfast Platter. On November 11, active duty, retired military, and veterans may visit any participating Huddle House to enjoy their MVP meal. All patrons must present a proper military I.D.
IHOP
IHOP will celebrate and honor veterans on Veterans Day by offering free Red, White & Blue Pancakes from 7 a.m. through 7 p.m. at participating locations for dine-in service only. Military ID or proof of service is required.
Krispy Kreme
Free donut and small coffee – no purchase necessary. Military ID or proof of service is required.
Lamars Donuts
Veterans and active-duty military get a free donut and 12 oz. coffee on November 11.

Veterans and active-duty military get a free Lunch Combo on November 11, from 11am to 2pm. In-store only.

Free buffet to all veterans and active duty military with ID
The Popcorner
Free hot and fresh to-go bag from the warmers. Just show your valid ID Saturday only. Enjoy 10% OFF any regular-priced items every day in the stores.
Red Lobster
Veterans, active-duty military and reservists get free printed meal vouchers for Veterans Shrimp & Chips from 11:00am to 4:00pm local time on November 11. Guests need to show a valid military ID or proof of service. The voucher can be redeemed beginning November 13 through December 10 for dine-in only.
Red Robin Gourmet Burgers
Veterans and active-duty military get a complimentary Red’s Big Tavern Burger on November 11 with valid ID. Dine-in only, not valid for online or to-go orders.
Rib Crib
Veterans get a free meal from a select menu on November 11. This year, Rib Crib is offering a pulled pork sandwich with house made potato chips on the sandwich and as the side and a 2 meat combo of pulled pork and sliced smoked chicken breast with house made potato chips as the side. Both come with a soft drink. 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Offer is good for dine-in only.

Veterans and active-duty service members get a free lunch on November 11 from 11am to 3pm. Dine-in only.
Village Inn
Village Inn is honoring members of our armed forces with a free 2-2-2 breakfast all day, Nov. 11. Veterans and active-duty servicemen and women can get breakfast by showing their military ID or proof of military service.
Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux
Free scholarship burger on November 11 to all active duty and veterans with proof of ID.
Wendy’s
Active-duty military and veterans get a free breakfast combo on November 11 from 6:30 to 10:30am.
