Jingle & Mingle – A Christmas Pop-Up Bar | Dec. 15

Get the holiday tingles when you come to mingle at this Christmas pop-up bar! Gather your friends and family to enjoy holiday cocktails, mingle with new and old friends, and snap a selfie at our festive selfie stations. Then vote for your favorite station ($1=1 vote) by making a donation to St. Anthony Family Shelter to help provide shelter, food and supplies to families with children who are experiencing homelessness. Take fun holiday photos, enjoy festive drinks, and mingle – all while supporting a good cause!

The Nutcracker featuring The Ballet Wichita Symphony | Dec. 15-17

This December, Ballet Wichita is set to whisk Wichita away on an enchanting journey into a mesmerizing world inhabited by dancing dolls that come to life, mischievous mice that dare to tango, and snowflakes that glisten like a million stars. Get ready for the most anticipated event of the holiday season – the Nutcracker Ballet!

Wild Lights | Dec. 13-17
Where: Sedgwick County Zoo
Wild Lights is back with ALL NEW light displays and this year’s theme will leave you smiling like the Cheshire Cat. Wichita’s most unique fall event will return with larger-than-life Asian Lantern sculptures illuminating the Zoo with dazzling scenes of glowing wildlife, beautiful scenery, and Alice in Wonderland themed displays.

Where: Eugene M. Hughes Metropolitan Complex
1 Million Cups is a free, weekly national program designed to educate, engage, and connect entrepreneurs. Every Wednesday morning at 8:45 a.m., one or two early-stage startups present their companies to a diverse audience of their peers, mentors, educators, and advisors.

■ A Very Merry Metroplex, Holiday Market | Dec. 13

On Thursday, December 14, 2023, bring the whole family out to enjoy the festivities as Central Park is transformed into a winter wonderland with luminaries lining the sidewalks, illuminated trees, and activities for everyone. The evening begins at 5:30 p.m. with the arrival of Santa Claus and tree lighting. Afterward, you can choose from a variety of activities in the Andover Public Library, City Hall and outside including crafts for kids, photos with Santa, live music, hot beverages and more
