Wichita Car Wash Series: Club Car Wash at 29th and Maize

In the latest edition of our Car Wash series, it was only right to visit the newest one that opened in Wichita, Club Car Wash.

Located at 2965 North Maize Road in the former Take 5 Car Wash at the southwest corner of 29th and Maize, this was probably the biggest surprise in the local car wash scene.

Why? Because there’s already another Club Car Wash just a mile north on Maize road.

Regardless, I had to do my due diligence and better serve the city of Wichita by checking this one out.

If you to want to visit this new Club Car Wash, now is the time to do so.

MVP washes are just $1 until April 21. It’s the best deal going on in town for a car wash. I should probably put a disclaimer that this blog was sponsored and paid for by the quarters found in my couch.

To make things more worthwhile, proceeds also go to the local charity, Wichita’s Littlest Heroes.

With that said, I dropped by Club Car Wash after the lunch hour. I’ve noticed this location has been extremely busy after school gets out and after work hours. I wanted to beat the rush AND get a clean car.

The car wash was $1 flat. Not $1.06, not $1.07, but $1.00.

I paid my dollar and made my way to the car wash. My baby was in dire need of a wash after a road trip to Oklahoma City.

It’s always a good feeling to see your car shiny and clean. I’ll add the car wash I received from Club Car Wash was a million times better than what I had at Take 5 Car Wash. While I’m not sure what changes were made inside the building, maybe Oompa Loompas were inside secretly washing my car. Whatever it was, it was definitely worth it and I would have happily paid more than a dollar for the wash.

After that, I made my way over to the vacuums, which really sucked….literally. My daughter has made a mess of my back seat, and the vacuums came in handy.

There were also complimentary towels and Windex to use.

Another awesome amenity was a restroom!!!! Not just any bathroom, but a unisex one. How many car washes have you been to that offered a bathroom? WOW!!!!

Overall, I was quite impressed with my first visit to the newest Club Car Wash in town.

I get that being a dollar can possibly skew one’s opinion of it, especially when I didn’t even pay for it (my couch did). But fear not, I will likely be back for a revisited review.

Until then, what car wash to review next?
