Announcing details for the 1st ever Wichita By E.B. whiskey tasting

Wichita by E.B. Whiskey Tasting

It’s almost time for the first Wichita By E.B. Whiskey Tasting.

The tasting will take place at Shift Auto Society at 406 S Market St. It’ll be your chance to check out the classic car storage facility in downtown Wichita.

What are the details?

Make your calendars for Saturday, June 8 when the event will take place from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. (maybe longer)

This tasting will include dinner from Station 8 BBQ along with a charcuterie spread from Izzy’s Soirée along with complimentary tastings of five ounce/half pours of different whiskeys.

How can someone purchase tickets?

Like all other events, it will be first come, first served so it gives everyone an equal chance. A link to purchase tickets will be released in our newsletter. The link will be published in our late May newsletter drop on Friday, May 24. Roughly 15 tickets will be made available. Once the tickets sell out, they’re gone. If they don’t sell out in the first hour, a link will be shared on our social pages.

Each person is eligible to purchase two tickets.

If the form isn’t working, head here.

Also check your spam folder when the email comes out.

The cost of the whiskey tasting

Ticket price is $80 + taxes. To better serve the community, at least $50 of every ticket will to directly to the Kansas Humane Society. Our goal is to raise $1,000 for the animal shelter.

Everybody will also have the option or purchasing a limited edition Wichita By E.B. Glencairn whiskey glass with proceeds of each glass also going to the Kansas Humane Society.

What else to expect

This is a first time event for me so I’m using this as a beta test of sorts to learn on how to improve for a next one IF there is a next one. This will be a very engaging session with lots of interaction among the intimate group.

I’m just now learning about this scene so I’m looking to educate myself at the ssame time.

Big thanks

Lastly, I want to thank local collector Jason Burhenn for donating the bottles. Shout out to Rodney Horton for providing us a facility.

Make sure to get signed up for the newsletter. Stay tuned for more!
