What diners can expect at Executive Lounge

Executive Lounge

For the truly adventurous foodie type, there are all sorts of establishments to get food at. One place that’s been on my radar for the longest time is Executive Lounge.

According to their Facebook page, they are a fun, safe environment with great drink specials daily. And according to Google, it’s an adult entertainment club in Wichita, Kansas. But little do people know, there’s also a kitchen inside!

So, what can diners expect who choose to check out the menu (of food that is) at Executive Lounge?

I’ve read they have a taco Tuesday special but have been unable to make it out on a Tuesday. Since I was out south one afternoon, I dropped by to get a look (at the food, of course).

Along with the food, there is a stage, an ATM machine, two well-lit pool tables, and a long bar to sit at to enjoy the food and drink, or for some people, the view.

Executive Lounge

The menu at Executive Lounge consists of many appetizers of the fried variety, like fries, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, pickles, and jalapeño poppers. Entrées included burgers, chicken strips, wings, and if you are feeling like a tossed salad at this adult entertainment club, there’s a chicken strip salad.

I didn’t see a dessert menu, but I believe Cupcake, Cherry, and Cookie were taking the stage later that night.

Here’s the catch, I wasn’t able to order any food at Executive Lounge. When I arrived, I was told the kitchen doesn’t open until 8 p.m. So this is a very incomplete review for me. They said I could come back later in the evening. So if you’re hungry and near 4000 S. Broadway, don’t stop here unless it’s in the evening.

On the bright side, they didn’t charge me a cover because one, I didn’t see anybody at the door and am not sure if there is one. And two, I was literally there for probably three minutes. (Insert that’s what she said joke).

Hopefully, one day I can return to get a better review of the food at Executive Lounge for the faithful readers. Stay tuned.

Here’s the menu.
