After writing about Dillon’s $5 sushi, many readers were quick to point out and beat me to the punch on my next article. Dillon’s isn’t the only player in town offering $5 sushi on a particular day.
Sprouts at 7728 E Central (Central and Rock intersection) also offers $5 sushi but theirs is on Wednesday.
For the past couple months, I also have been adding Sprouts to my dinner rotation on my way home from work. I should note that sometimes you’ll want to get there early because the selection can run out fast.
The selection consists of such rolls as Crispy Crab, Crab Salad, Blazing California, California Roll, Crunchy Shrimp Roll, Philadelphia Roll, Spicy Roll, Wasabi Roll, Wasabi Crunch and Sriracha Party.
Just like Dillon’s, it’s a great value for what you get and the quality is better than one would expect. Unfortunately for many people there’s just one Sprouts in town so this is probably best suited for those working or living out east.
