We were the first ones to officially break the news last April with the rumored Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen coming to the west Wichita. The news would finally be confirmed later in the year. Many people have been inquiring on when exactly that will open. No official date has been given besides the “Spring 2019” date. I’m no magic genie or reporter but according to one person involved with the project I spoke to, they are aiming for a March/April date. That person is not a Cheddar’s employee so it’s not an official statement so just take that for what it is.
As with any opening, you should always take it with a grain of salt since so many things can push up or delay an opening as seen with Coney Island and 1985 Arcade Bar & Grill.
One thing is for sure, the building is coming up along nice and smoothly as seen in the picture above. The location will be at 535 S. Ridge Road Circle next door to the recently opened west side Cracker Barrel.
Many people have patiently been waiting for this opening so just give it a few more months and then you can finally get your hands on some of these:
