Dynomite Vintage Collectibles
Next door to R Coffee House in Riverside is a cool little shop that opened a little less than a year ago. Dynomite Vintage Collectibles as the name suggests is a vintage shop that sells comic books, sports cards and toys, and vintage stock.
Their primary focus is comic books. For many years, I used to be an avid comic book collector and reader. Many of my favorites included Spider-Man, X-Men, New Mutants, and Incredible Hulk. We have a good-sized collection. So walking into comic book stores always brings back a lot of nostalgia for me.
Dynomite Vintage Collectibles is located at 1136 N. Bitting. They have a small little space but make the most out of every square inch of the store.
The walls are adorned with shelves of old school comic books that cover the whole spectrum of the Marvel universe, DC, Image, and everything else you can imagine.
The owner even has a huge collection of Wizard of Oz and Star Wars collectibles.
For the serious collectors, he has nearly all the first appearances of many different characters like Spider-Man, Hulk, Wolverine and more. You name it, he’s probably got it.
Dynomite Vintage Collectibles also sells some current comics and will purchase comics from those people looking to get rid of their collection.
I thoroughly enjoyed browsing the store and reliving part of my youth that was spent figuring out how to get a spider to bite me to give me superhuman powers.
