People have been curious about the Green Olive’s move to the southside. Looks like we finally have a date. The Mediterranean restaurant that previously operated at 6600 W. Central has moved to 4520 E. 47th Street in the short-lived The Barbe-Q-Pit space, opens on Monday, July 26.
They have rebranded themselves as Green Olive Family BBQ and will serve many of their Mediterranean favorites of Green Olive and include BBQ to the menu.
I was able to confirm the date with employees of the restaurant. Be sure to follow their Facebook for more information. Or you can check back here for a first look once they are open.
