One of the restaurants that closed in 2021 was the Subway at 2424 S West St. which sat at the southeast corner of West St. and Pawnee.
The building has sat vacant since, but some new life looks to be coming.
I haven’t been able to confirm it, but I’m being told that it will be a late night Mexican restaurant option and will be owned by one of the current establishments in town who is looking to expand. While that’s all I can say for now, I feel pretty confident that a new restaurant will be taking over.
The moment I hear more news, I’ll definitely pass it on to all of you.
