Jabara’s Carpet Outlet
When we purchased a house, one of the big renovations we wanted was to rip out all the flooring upstairs and replace it. There was a mix of old carpet and damaged hardwood that looks to have seen better times. We visited quite a few stores when looking at having it all redone. In the end, we chose Jabara’s Carpet Outlet.
They had a comparable to larger selection than all the other stores we visited. In most cases, the big box stores will usually be more affordable than someone local. In comparing prices, Jabara’s ended up being just as comparable without having to sacrifice the quality of product.
Our sales guys were Chris and Jason. Chris walked us through the products they had and helped educate us on the best route to go.
In our house, our dining and living rooms were carpeted. Those rooms connected to the kitchen, which had hardwood flooring. We wanted one type of flooring to go throughout all those rooms.
After lots of thought, we decided to go with luxury vinyl tile. They were flexible and worked with us on dates to get everything installed.
Our contractor was Alberto. I’ve heard quite a few horror stories from close friends using contractors big box stores have used, and the damage caused at their house because of it. So, there was a giant peace of mind when finding out Alberto has worked with Jabara’s for years.
Alberto was nothing short of phenomenal. He was punctual, precise and very timely. There were many times I’d be home while he was working and we’d chat occasionally while he was working and enjoyed the company. You could tell he was just a good dude.
One of the best parts about Alberto along with the whole team at Jabara’s was the level of communication. They did an impressive job of keeping us up to date with timelines. It was helpful because we had other projects going on around the house. We’ve had plenty of contractors over and work take place over the months, and the biggest thing for me is always communication and being punctual.
In the end, the finished product from Jabara’s Carpet Outlet was outstanding…..
The flooring looked great. My only question is why would people cover all that work with decorative area rugs? I didn’t have much say in that matter. I’ll save the area rug reviews for an entire other blog.
Seriously, if you need some flooring, carpeting, anything, check out Jabara’s Carpet Outlet at 1816 N Broadway St., or visit their webpage or Facebook.
