It’s been a while since we’ve done a tournament bracket. Our Most Liked Series has covered tacos, burgers, bbq, and pizza. Now it’s time to move on to the latest category that hits home because it is National Donut Day. It’s time to unveil the Wichita’s Most Liked Donut tournament bracket, brought to you by Lamb Team Real Estate.
A tournament bracket featuring a whopping 16 restaurants that are all in Wichita. I kept this strictly to Wichita because it was an even 16 places. I also wanted to make sure an entire city like Derby, Valley Center, or Haysville didn’t come in and outvote one restaurant strictly because it was in their hometown.
The point of this whole bracket is three-fold:
- Introduce you all to the number of options many of you may have never heard of.
- Use this platform of Wichita By E.B. to help give some exposure to places that rarely get love elsewhere.
- Have a little fun in the name of the sugary goodness called donuts.
REMEMBER, the results of this post don’t necessarily mean they are the best donuts, but more of which place has the most online support, thus Most Liked. Like all votes, it’s really just a popularity contest, but one I hope you can all have fun with. This all comes down to social media support on Facebook, where the voting will be held. In the end, I hope you can find some new donut options you may have never heard of or tried! And just like the previous bracket, I will not be voting in any bracket. This will be left strictly to the general audience.
I do have ONE REQUEST. When you vote, ask yourself if you’re voting for what you truly feel is the BEST DONUT, or if you’re just voting to support said place based on other reasons. It’s up to you what criteria you consider for the best donut; this isn’t rocket science. Just have some fun. Obviously, there is no way to regulate it but I just wanted to throw that out there.
Starting Friday, you will find a poll featuring matchups on the Wichita By E.B. Facebook page to vote for your favorite.
