I saw the following post going around Facebook advertising Cazian King. They are a family who host little popup boils around town. They also sell their own sauce too. Their crawfish which is live runs $11/lb and the shrimp (with head-on) $12/lb.
They were taking pre-orders all week and I was fortunately able to get a pound of each to try at home. I ordered the mild version to appease my family but ordered a side of their spicy sauce for myself.
It’s the time of year where crawfish are starting to get big so it was the perfect time to start their boil. Every order comes served and bagged in their special housemade sauce which was delicious. My biggest regret was not ordering more than one pound. We really enjoyed the mild sauce but for someone like myself who loves spice…… the spicy sauce is certainly the way to go if you can take the heat.
You can purchase their sauce separately if you’d like. It’s $12 for a 32 ounce container.
