The area of 21st and Greenwich will have a new restaurant next week when the Maryland-based chain, California Tortilla, opens their doors to the public. The address is 2244 N Greenwich Road in the former Dickey’s Barbecue Pit spot. They have set up a Facebook event for January 8 from 10:30am to 10pm where they are offering $5 build-your-own burritos and burrito bowls on top of their regular menu which you can view below. Proceeds that day will go to benefiting the Kansas Food Bank. Food donations are also encouraged and appreciated, especially peanut butter, canned fruit, and canned beans.
For those who have never been California Tortilla is a fast-casual restaurant that’s big on grass-fed beef, fresh ingredients and avoiding preservatives and additives when possible. Their menu consists of tacos, burritos, fajitas, quesadillas and salads.
